Professional Development Review (PDR) Workshops for Supervisors of Professional and General Staff

Intended Audience:

With the introduction of the new Professional Development Review (PDR) Supervisors of Professional & General Staff are required to attend training in order to familiarise themselves with the process and documentation.

Workshop Description:

This workshop explains the objectives of the PDR, the process, and the roles and responsibilities of Reviewers and Reviewees. Please bring your position description form and the last performance management review report to the workshop

Intended Outcomes:

At the workshop you will learn the answers to the questions:

• What is the PDR and why do we have to have it?
• How does it differ from the Performance Management Review?
• How do I prepare for PDR meetings with my staff?

Cost:

UWA staff members and UWA affiliates will receive priority in gaining access to this session. Participant enrolment in this workshop will be confirmed following the closing date for applications. Please note a cancellation fee may apply for non-attendees. We also welcome enrolment by non-UWA participants, subject to availability. The commercial fee for non-UWA attendees is calculated at $100 per hour of attendance. Staff working in other universities will receive a 20% discount on the commercial fee.
